Refund Policy
7-Day Limited Refund Window
A new paid group purchase (Standard / Premium / Platinum) may be refunded in full within 7 calendar days of the purchase, PROVIDED THAT none of the seven conditions listed in Section 2 below has been triggered. Each paid group is a one-time charge — there is no recurring subscription and nothing renews. By completing checkout, you expressly acknowledge that refund eligibility is governed by the conditions in Section 2 and that triggering any of them voids your right to a refund.
Conditions That Void Refund Eligibility
Even within the 7-day window above, a refund will be denied if ANY of the following conditions has been triggered. By purchasing a paid plan, you expressly agree to each of these conditions.
(1) Kickoff Rule — Service Already Delivered
The first scheduled match in the paid group has already started (official kickoff time has passed). Once the tournament has begun, the entertainment and social value of the prediction service has materially commenced, and the SaaS hosting fee is deemed earned — similar to a movie ticket after the show has started.
(2) Engagement Threshold — Hosting Capacity Consumed
Five (5) or more members (excluding the group owner) have joined the paid group AND submitted at least one prediction before the refund request is filed. This indicates that the platform has substantially delivered its core multi-user hosting service: leaderboard generation, notification routing, and member coordination resources have been allocated and consumed.
(3) Premium Features Consumed — Irreversible Use
The account has used any premium-tier feature whose value is irreversible, including but not limited to: uploading a custom branding banner, generating and distributing a custom invite URL, exporting member CSV / API data, or sending bulk email invitations through the platform. Once these resources have been emitted to third parties, the digital good cannot be returned.
(4) Terms Violation & Abuse — Account Suspension
The account has been suspended or terminated for violations of the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, including but not limited to: spam, hate speech, harassment, distribution of obscene content, automated / scripted abuse of platform APIs, or fraudulent activity. Suspended accounts forfeit any and all refund rights without further notice.
(5) Unverified Account — Risk Control
The account email address has NOT been verified at the time the refund is requested. The 7-day refund window begins only after email verification is completed. Accounts that purchase without verifying their email are treated as high-risk and may be denied refund at the platform's discretion.
(6) Lifetime Refund Limit — One Per Identity
A maximum of one (1) refund will be granted per account, per payment instrument (credit card, PayPal account, etc.), and per verified user identity, over the lifetime of the relationship with the platform. Subsequent refund requests on the same identity will be denied at the platform's sole discretion.
(7) Identity Confirmation — Owner Must Initiate
The refund request must be sent from the email address registered to the account, must include the order ID and the group name, and must be confirmed by the account holder via a return-email verification within 24 hours of our acknowledgement. Requests submitted via third-party email, lacking the order ID, or without identity confirmation will not be processed.
How to Request a Refund
Send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered to the account, with the subject "Refund Request - <group name or order ID>". We will reply with an identity-confirmation request; upon your reply within 24 hours, we will evaluate eligibility under Section 2. Eligible refunds are processed within 5 business days via the original payment method; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank / card network (typically 3-10 business days).
No Prorated Refunds
No prorated refunds are offered outside the 7-day window. Each paid group is a one-time charge, not a recurring subscription — there is nothing to cancel, and the paid features simply remain active for that group until its tournament ends.
About Chargebacks
For any billing question, please first email [email protected] — we will resolve it in good faith. Initiating a chargeback with your bank / card network without first contacting us will trigger an immediate account security suspension (until the dispute is resolved) and will permanently disqualify the account from future paid purchases. Disputes filed against transactions where any of the Section 2 conditions has been triggered will be contested by the platform with full evidentiary support (checkout acknowledgement, kickoff timestamps, member engagement logs, etc.).
Summary — Cases Not Eligible
Refunds are not available in the following cases: (a) requests filed outside the 7-day window; (b) any of the seven conditions in Section 2 has been triggered; (c) accounts terminated for Terms violations; (d) "prediction result disputes" caused by third-party data source delays or errors — an objective risk outside the platform's control.
